Enjoying the grass

This spike buck was content to eat the grass while I took he few pictures of him. The frost had just melted off the grass and there was a little bit of water in the creek. He was a nice safe distance from the road and was enjoying his safe surroundings. There was quite a large buck about a 1/2 mile away from this guy that was in no way letting me take his picture this morning.

You got an excellent shot of this handsome young buck, Debra. Very nice composition and detail too. Our nights are pretty chilly now and even on a sunny day it doesn't warm up a lot. but I'm thankful for every day without snow :)

Nice scenery with the buck Debra. His bright colour stand out well from the surroundings. Appreciate the mix between grasses and tree trunks. No more fall colours. Winter is coming in.
