Paddling Across Sunset Reflections

This is one of my most favourite photos from 2021! A lone canoeist, paddling a canoe across sunset reflections, on a calm, quiet lake, in Northern Ontario. I first met this man a few years ago. He and his wife have been visiting this lake, Moore Lake at Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park in Northern Ontario, for over 47 years. During their three or four weeks long stay, he goes out for a paddle across the lake almost everyday. On this particular fall evening I went down to the lake and saw him slowly floating across the golden glowing water. It was a beautiful sight to see!
