The UNESCO town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia , is known for it's colourful waterfront. In the winter months the town lights the ships in the 'Lighting of the Vessels' festival. For the remainder of December the waterfront and ships will stay lit for all to enjoy. The ship on the left is the famous Bluenose II, lit up as it sits covered for the winter.
