“The Sirens’ Calling” by John Greer, a decorated Nova Scotia artist, has created a series of sculptures in the centre courtyard of the Queen's Marque public space, Halifax, N.S., featuring four Greek figures made from cast and polished stainless steel. Each figure rests on a black granite monolith. Their gazes call up the "dual role of the harbour as both a place of departure and a safe haven".
