Had a great opportunity to photograph an iceberg floating off the coast of Newfoundland in 'Iceberg Alley'. These icebergs break off of the Greenland Glacier and could take up to 2 years to make it to the Newfoundland coast and and into what is known as 'Iceberg Alley'. I was able to photograph the iceberg but then noticed the Minke Whale swimming behind the iceberg ( center right of the image). I was so focused on the iceberg that I missed the minke whale swimming around the iceberg! I did not spot the whale until I was reviewing my images later.
