While I was watching the Common Redpolls at my feeder the other day it was freezing rain. The Redpolls were so busy, they sure like shelled sunflowers. Anyway, once it was done raining this little one had water droplets frozen to its tail feathers. It would try and shake them off with no luck so in the end she preened them off each feather.
