I was super worried about these guys after last summers heat wave here on the coast, and unfortunately they don’t seem to be recovering as well as hoped for. This is not only a testament to last summers temperatures, but ultimately, foreshadowing of what could happen given our current climate crisis. We seem to forget that everything surrounding us is also affected and we may never get to experience natural beauty like this again, even in our lifetime if things don’t start to change. ⚠️🌍
