There are over 170 lighthouses in Nova Scotia. Sometimes they are large and well known, maybe even famous like Peggy's Point lighthouse and theCape Forchu lighthouse used for a location shoot in a movie. Others, like this smaller lighthouse in Indian Harbour on the South Shore, dot the coastline doing their job guiding those at sea home and helping to preserve a way of life.
