While driving through Gros Morne National Park looking for a place to photograph. I decided to go to Eastern Point Trail, Trout River, Newfoundland. When I walked up to the top of the stairs, I discovered that a field beside the cliff had flooded from rain a couple days earlier and than froze a couple inches of ice, making for a perfect rink. I happened to have left my skates and hockey stuff in the car. So without thinking I went back to my car, grabbed my stuff and walked back up to go skating. It was a truly unique experience that I won't ever forget.
