Dandelion is the only vegetation on earth that embodies the Sun, Moon and stars over its lifespan — its yellow flower head is like the Sun, the puffball resembles the Moon and the dispersing seeds are the stars. As the light shines upon morning dew clinging on the seed head, however ephemerally, the plant is transformed into an extraterrestrial being at close-up.
