I had observed this Red Fox searching for mice in a near by brush pile. Rather than taking off once it noticed me, this curious Red Fox decided to stay in sight, giving me an opportunity to capture this stunning portrait. There are many opportunities to get up close and personal with urban/food conditioned animals, however I feel it is an accomplishment having captured such an intimate image of a completely feral fox out in the forest.
