A kayaker with much experience ventures into the LaSalle Rapids on the St-Lawrence River. I was in the park to photograph herons and cormorants when I saw this colourful kayak entering this section of tumultuous waters and strong current. Totally in control the paddler maneuvered deftly, got turned sideways and 360o a few times then exited safely the dangerous rapids. Sony A7R IV, Sony FE 200-600 mm, X2 teleconverter, 1/1250 sec, f/13.0, ISO 1600.
