A leisurely drive along the Lighthouse Route on the South Shore of Nova Scotia takes you through many maritime villages with long histories. In addition to the colourful fishing boats, the village wharves, the little restaurants serving local delicacies and the many maritime craft shops, you find very old, charming painted buildings that reflect the history of this part of Atlantic Canada. This is the old LaHave Bakery Building , a favourite place for locals and visitors to stock up on delicious treats.
