Réservoir Beaudet near Victoriaville is full of wildlife anytime of the year. I was there one afternoon in late August and was not disappointed. I saw the heron perched on a rock, snapped a few shots of the bird preening then waited and after a while it took off. I was ready and recorded the motion in a 10 frame per second burst. Sony A7R IV, Sony FE 200-600mm, 1/2000sec, f/9.0, ISO 800.
