It's a sight you don't want to pass by if you happen to have your camera nearby. I've never come across a field of sunflowers before and it was quite the sight to see.

I too like how you have featured a small amount of sunflower heads. One looking a little tired and one still looking strong and taking in the sun. Nice job with the yellow slowing softening into the background. We have quite a few fields around us but I have never been happy with my attempt to photograph the field. Very nice image.

agree with you Heather,. Those sunflower fields always make a great effect. Nice burst of color and light. Like very much the way you choose to compose the shot. Showing day to day life with flowers at different stade on growt. Meaningful too.
