    Now I know what you might be thinking. This owl is NOT in outer space. However, it is a single image. The short eared owl was hunting over a golf course in the last light of day. The snow cover on the ground was like a giant soft box and a wooded area behind the owl provided a nice and dark background. Image captured at 840mm.
