This doe is taking a time-out after what was probably a busy night. There is a few bucks in this area at the moment that are keeping the ladies on the move.

Great job, Debra. Dark animals in snow are not easy to photograph, so well done.

Another great compo of yours Debra. I consider not so easy to shoot that kind of scenery. You really succeed by putting a strong eye contact with the doe. She is the interest, she is the star and she is beautyful. Personnaly I would say she is more likely thinking -dam it, another winter comming in- :)

Very nice composition and detail on this beautiful doe,. She stands out really well here in the snow among the camouflage of trees and grasses. It's a real treat to be able to view these deer through your lens. Beautiful capture Debra.
