I learned recently that, if possible, photograph your wildlife subjects from their eye level. Well - it might mean you get an little dirty, a little wet, a little cold, but it seems to work, and after seeing the result, I soon forgot about the cold, wet dirt. All in all, you have to admit, Blue Jays are handsome feathered friends.

Wonderful capture, Bernie! So true. Get on the ground and get dirty! It's worth it!
