I heard the noise and it took me about 5 minutes of looking around to located her. At first she was at the base of a tree behind a lot of grass. She flew over to another tree which allowed me to get this shot of her foraging for food.

A lovely woodland image Debra. Such a beautiful bird and she stands out very nicely here against the background colours and detail. Very nicely captured.

Good shot of that beautyful woodpecker. The soft lighted background well compliment the nice bird.
