Visited Grand Manan last fall, and was quite disturbed by the lack of bird activity, both on the island and pelagic. Normally there would be shorebirds everywhere along the shoreline and on the beaches, however, this small flock with Black-bellied Plovers was only a few that we saw during our 10 days stay.
