Yesterday's excursion didn't go as planned given the conditions. Kind of funny as I stopped to take a photo of the metal trees in the distance with blowing snow etc.....and Carmen says 'oh wow!'. So right next to where I pull over on this road where visibility is zero at times, there is this owl doing a balancing act. Of course we all prefer to see them in a tree or on the ground but I will take this one.
