With the prairie weather warming up I have been spending afternoons hiking through Elk Island National Park. I was lucky enough to come across a large herd of Bison making their way across a frozen lake. A few bull Bison who wanted to stay with the bachelor group didn't follow the rest of the herd and stayed on the frozen lake, eventually moving towards me to graze the grass on the edge.
