I was out photographing a herd of wild Bison this past weekend when I noticed some moving objects in the background of the scene. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a herd of Elk moving towards the herd of Bison that had bedded down in the corner of a clearing with a frozen lake. I have never seen the two species interact out there before so it was a real treat to capture some images of it.
