There is an abundance of marshy areas in Riding Mountain National Park. It was a calm and sunny morning when I took the picture of this male blue-winged teal.

I also liked the serenity and harmony. Very impressive.

There is a sense of calm in this beautiful scene you have captured so well, showing off this beautiful duck apparently oblivious to you. Great shot.

A great bucolic shot with a very beautiful duck. The stillness of the water allow for amazing reflections. The surrounding round wakes gives just a little moving action to the scene. Appreciate the opening in the cattails and a view of the sky. Interesting too are the two 45 degree angled cattails. Their reflection make some kind of brackets with the duck in between. Gret shot.

Wonderful detail on the blue winged teal, rippled reflections and cattails in a very serene looking view of this marsh. I love the mood you captured in this beautiful shot Debra.
