Tobermory is a great little harbor town to observe the milky way and night sky in all it's glory, with its clear view and void of light pollution it makes for a great dark sky area. I used a star map app to plan where the milky way would show up and set the camera in front of the lighthouse facing that direction. I also used a small light(off to the left) to light paint the rocks during the exposure to fill in the darker areas and add depth to the image
