This Canada Jay was busy teaching the little ones all about life. They were flying in and out of the balsam trees, trying to extract seeds from last years dried clematis flowers and chasing each other.

This time of the year sure is the best to photograph parenthood in the bird world. And your shot do it so well here. Between you and me. I love those tree loaded with moss. Always a beautyful addon to wildlife photo.

A delightful candid capture. They stand out especially well here framed by the textures and complementary tones of the balsam branches against the darker background trees. I love the mood of the moment you caught here. Very nicely done Debra.
