Got the "Blues" Again :)

I was hiking a trail today I've never been on before, just near the entrance to the trail was a small meadow and I was hearing this calling as I approached, a favorite kind of "blue bird" , this one a spectacular looking male Indigo Bunting. This one's a long distance migrant that winters within a range extending from southern Florida into northern South America. I always find it amazing that they migrate this far north! I've seen a few this year in Eastern Ontario, but by far this was the most exciting opportunity to see and photograph one. Handsome isn't he!
