It was a hot noon day on July 3rd. Standing outside, with sweat pouring down my back, I was trying to photograph this rather shy spider. Every move would cause it to hide, and after a while, I was temptedto give up. However, my patience paid off. After walking away for a split second and coming back to the same spot, I was able to capture it as it clung to the edge of a Zinnia.
