    Seeing this Barred Owl this close was such a lovely experience. When an owl decides to come close to me, I always soak it in and try not to move around too much so that it doesn't get nervous and leave. This Barred Owl stayed close for a long time one morning, giving me a lot of time to get those camera settings just right for the dark forest lighting I was dealing with.
