A photo impressionism of Mount Allenby, Banff National Park. It's fun to layer textures from a scene over a wider projection of the landscape. In this case the texture of a nearby boulder is layered over the Allenby Pass scenery. Often I find creative techniques help us to break a scene down into its most fundamental elements, helping us see things our mind's eye is trained to take for granted.
