This black capped chick-a-dee spent the better part of an hour plucking seeds out of the mugo pine cones and stashing the seeds in other tree branches. Only to be enjoyed throughout the winter months here in Manitoba.

Great composition and colour, Debra. Nice job.
This shot is a real beauty Debra. and it sounds like this one is preparing for the winter months that are to come. Great colors and detail.
Great capture! I just found a spot where I can watch them pre-winter. Only ever been able to see them during the winter months here in Ontario.
Gorgeous capture of this busy little guy Debra. He stands out beautifully here framed by the luminous greens of the pine and plants in the background. Love that pose too..
Thank you Yves for the kind comments. These little birds are so active right now eating and hiding food. I just love watching them.
Wow. Like very much that shot Debra. Great compo here with the white plant of the back that help highlighting the crisp detailed mungo and bird. Perfect framing too.
