but not to be underestimated. With the cooler temperatures and falling leaves, this little red squirrel kept us smiling as he dropped cones from a red pine tree. Once he had dropped four or five cones he would scurry down the tree to gather, protect and store his cones from the neighbouring squirrels. Some cones he would strip the scales from to get at the pine/seeds/nuts to enjoy right away.

Your shot tels me about the art of photography. Taking a very common moment with a very common subject and raise it to one of a kind picture, making the subject a star. Nice and warm fall colors. What a happy looking camper he is too. Very nicely captured Debra. They're pretty busy around here gathering up the cones for winter and are always fun to watch.
