Immature Red-tailed Hawk

I saw the raptor with its widespread wingspan circling very high in the sky, it changed directions a few times. I just wished it could come closer then it came down and perched on a tree at the edge of Heron's Pond but it's still far away. I kept following it through the view finder and was getting tired for holding the camera with the tele lens for such a long time. Then I got lucky the hawk has decided to fly right towards me, I couldn't believe its speed and got this close up shot, uncropped.

Great capture Pierre! The density of this photo is great! From the clear and sharp eye detail to the feet and talons!
