Once I got the suet feeder out it wasn't long before it was busy again. I love how these nuthatches traverse a tree downwards and announce themselves with their little bonk like call. The clicking of my camera caught his attention and gave me a nice upside down pose for this shot.

  • Camera: NIKON D7500

Very joyful shot Heather. You got the colors of the bird very nice, what I don't always succeed. The bright blue sky and orange roof make it for a joyful shot and well compliments that funny bird.

These little birds can be so animated and a lot of fun to watch and photograph. Nice vivid colours and textures support this beautiful composition Heather. Nicely done.
