I was hiding behind my car hoping to get a nice picture of this buck when he decided to cross over the road right behind my car. He did not pick up that I was there until he was up on the road. When he spotted me we locked onto each other for a split second and then he ran back down into the ditch.

You really get a sense of how surprised he was to see you there in this great candid capture Debra. This one needs a frame, it is such a beautiful portrait.

Gorgeous portrait Debra. Very beautyful. You caught the guy whith a pretty nice expression on his face. The dark bokeh is just perfect to enhence the subject. I presume you had an exciting moment.
