Sandhill Cranes in migration

Flying south a few Sandhill Cranes stop at the Dundee wetlands to feed and rest. They arrive around mid-morning, spend the day hidden in the tall grass. Then as evening comes they take off to resume the migration. On the dyke that borders the marsh I stood and wait for the passage of 1 or 2 groups of these big birds flying across the area.
