We have rats in behind us roaming the open field and one happened to sneak under the fence. Unfortunately for the rat, a local hawk happened to be near by and that was the end of it. Did you know it takes a hawk approximately three hours to completely consume a rat? The hawk took the rat into the bushes along the back fence and stayed there until it was finished. I got my camera was able to get a few shots without scaring it away.
