I was photographing a Varied Thrush when this Red-breasted Sapsucker flew in out of nowhere and he had my full attention once I noticed how deep his red was. He would fly closer on some trees near to me and he eventually turned to face me and flew directly at me to the tree behind me. I don't think he knew I was there until he was right in front of me and had to fly around me and my lens.
