This male American Kestrel shows off some of its beautiful plumage , nicely perched atop a coniferous tree...These elusive little falcons are often very skittish about having their photos taken...I was pleased that it didnt fly right away even if it was some distance away. Pretty much seen in every Canadian province and every American state they're fairly common when we get outside of the city...Pretty arent they!!!
