Cold Blustery Day Greets Cape Spear

There was no brilliant sunrise this morning recently at Cape Spear, the most eastern point of rock that is Canada. We visited this National Historic Site recently on a cold windy morning, hoping for even a tiny sliver of sunlight to start the day! On a nice day you could walk trails, visit the lighthouse and watch for whales and icebergs if you're here at the right time of the year. We chose to get back in our car after we had been almost blown off our feet!!
