My daughter and I met this Mule Deer doe and her fawns one September on the top of a butte in Dinosaur Provincial Park in central Alberta. We followed them down a dry wash to the edge of the campground. Pausing, the doe and lead fawn watched and listened to the human activity before making their way into the badlands.
