I enjoy the rustic prairie feel of this image. The two Swainson's Hawks, rusty barbed wire, the dried grasses and coneflowers all add some memorable Southern Saskatchewan character. The hawks were sitting the fence along the road that leads into the Grasslands National Park East Block as I departed heading east on a September road trip back to my home in Ontario.
