I met this drake Wood Duck at my local marsh one April morning. My shutter speed was set low to up my ISO as it was quite cloudy. That was a happy choice as it resulted in this image’s impressionistic elements that remind me of ribbon dancing. This impression was due mainly to secondary feather movement
