A Laughing Kookaburra in defused backlight made in a Eucalyptus forest on K'gari (Fraser Island) in Queensland, Australia last July. There’s a nice softness to this image that allows some of the subtle plumage tones and textures to show. The dappled forest background adds some cool leaf abstraction.
