This photograph of my log home was taken on the night of November 12th. It was beautiful and clear. I set up my camera and tripod, framing the house under Polaris, the center-ish star of the circles. I left my gear in my driveway overnight - taking one shot after another. I set alarms to check on the camera, change the batteries, and clear off any frost. But ended up sleeping through the last one (oops). The lens frosted up pretty bad, making the last half of the exposures unusable. I was still able to stitch together about 160 exposures. Enough to get some nice circular motion of the stars. I wasn't intentionally trying to photograph the aurora this night, but it ended up making an appearance in the first few frames of the night. I'll take it!
