I have been most fortunate this week to have had several opportunities to observe this Great Blue Heron. It was an added thrill having four Great Egrets join in last evening. Although, the Heron was not at all happy with their presence. I would highly recommend investing in a blind chair. The perfect tool for being comfortable, and close to your subject, without to much intrusion into their space.
