This cow moose had had enough and was hightailing it out of Horseshoe Lake in Denali National Park, Alaska. (Our recent completed vacation). She stopped no more than 30 feet away and we hid behind a tree until she decided to move on as opposed to running at us. Remember, when a moose attacks the thing to do is run or hide behind an object like a tree or structure or car.
