The elusive Steller’s Sea Eagle was spotted while on a zodiac tour on July 19, 2024. This is the SSE’s third year in the area and a long way from “home”. According to Wikipedia “The Steller's sea eagle is endemic to coastal northeastern Asia, where it lives in Russia, Korea, Japan, China, and Taiwan”… It was in Maine for a bit, but seems Trinity Bay, NL is “home” for now.
