This ranch house was built in 1896 by W.A. Stoughton of England. It has changed ownership several times and was last occupied as a residence in 1946. Construction employed dove tail joints and recently steel cables have been used to hold the walls from collapse.

It was certainly a house with character and an interesting history. You captured all that and much more in this shot, Clifford. Well done.

Another expressive and meaningful capture Clifford. I am so glad you have that wonderful talent to find and beautyfuly capture those reminders of our past. How come the photo itself look like an old one. It is slowly sinking in history to reminds us about what made us what we are. This is more than a shot, it is a document.

A beauty! Sharp, with texture, contrast, and colour. It evokes a longing for things past.

Wonderful landscape shot of this very old prairie home with an interesting history. Nicely captured Clifford.
