Nature is CRUEL!!!

This image is of an adult Bald Eagle in flight being chased by a sea gull, seen and photographed earlier this summer while visiting Bonavista in Eastern Newfoundland. I just got to processing some of these images now. I was shocked to see a baby se gull in the talons of the eagle, apparently the mother gull giving chase to hopefully retreive the baby. The fly by happened quickly and I had no idea that the eagle had a baby gull in its grasp! Yikes! Nature can be so cruel! The chick is still alive and looking back at the adult thats giving chase...
